Positive Influence
A family member that has positively influenced me is my brother, Chris. He has positively inspired me and influenced me in many ways throughout my life.
Chris is currently a teacher at Manhasset High School and is 24 years old. He went to Hamilton College then Columbia. Since a young age he has played many sports including soccer, baseball, and basketball. He luckily got his teaching job right out of college and he lives in his own apartment. Basically, there are many positives about him, and not that many negatives.
This is why he became a positive role model for me. My athletic brother got me into playing soccer which I really enjoy playing until this day. I always was competing with my brother in sports, grades, wrestling, video games, and more. He was always there challenging me to do better. I am also looking into similar colleges that he looked at. Although I don’t want to be a teacher, I am always encouraged to do as well, if not better, then my successful brother.
